What? Is this the THIRD time I’ve mentionned I have an exam Friday? Do you know what scares me the most? It’s not the memorization of Prehistoric eras, or the fact that I feel so far removed from university life, or that this is ONE exam and next semester there will be THREE. No, not any of that. What I’m most scared of is that I won’t find parking. Or I’ll confuse the location and get lost and arrive short of breath, forget my pen, need to drink…. and oh-my-gosh, there go the four patterns of evolution. Marie-Hélène has arranged to lend me her blanket:

But, whew, once this exam is over, I’ll bake cookies and visit friends and wrap presents and read anything that does not involve anthropology and live in bliss until the next education-related emergency. But really, I do love it.
