Because really she’s not… She’s just posing. Somehow, instead of learning how to sit, or roll onto her back from her stomac, she’s learned how to pose. If you don’t believe me, check out her “gangsta” pose. No, she doesn’t like sitting at all… so Mama chops carrots like Julia Child chops onions in Julie and Julia, just to keep her entertained. It’s this picture (bluriness, frowns and all) that does her attitude more justice:
